We haven't extended the duck head arm above 21" because this would create a need for an additional arm. The 12-21" compatibility range means that at the 21" position, the arm is extended to its limit. Also, the bigger the diameter, the higher the force applied to the mounting arm. There aren't too many rims above 21" diameter, and this is why we went with the 12-21" compatibility.
