Experiencing some difficulty with the duck head where the pry bar goes against to remove the tire. The angle is too steep and the prybar wants to fall out all the time.Updated 2 years ago

Reduce the tire bead tension by getting the tire into the drop center in the opposite section. The more the better. It does not mean pushing it extremely deep at just a single point this will not help much. Instead, make sure that the bead is slightly off the bead-rest all around the tire. After pulling the tire over the duck head, and before rotating the head with the ratchet system, turn the tire iron slightly away from the center of the wheel as shown on the photo. In case the tire iron should slide off from the duck head, the angle ensures a smoother contact with the rim. Also, we recommend starting the rotation slowly.
